2009-2010 PTA Executive Board Goals

The following goals were developed based on meetings with the 2008-09 PTA Chairs/ Co-Chairs, re-reading serveral years of PTA CV Community Surveys, performing a 2008-09 Student Survey and recommendations from the
2008-09 PTA Fundraising Taskforce.

1. Grants and Donations

Seek before we spend
Revise current "Grants and Donations" forms and process

2. Enhance Communication through:

Online volunteer sign-up
PFN face lift and frequency changes
Chair/ Co-chair email distribution
Spring survey to measure 2009-10 changes

3. New Families

Be inclusive of all new families (K-5) and assist them with integration into CV throughout the school year

4. Update Creek Valley PTA Bylaws in order to maintain good standing

5. Integrate students into PTA by adding an "s" ... PTSA. Launch Fifth Grade (leadership) Student Advisory Committee

6. Seek out members of the Creek Valley community that have not otherwise had an opportunity to chair a committee at our school and allow them to do so.
