STATEMENT OF PURPOSE - CREEK VALLEY PTA
The Creek Valley PTA, in partnership with the Creek Valley Staff, will strive to:
1. Encourage and support parental involvement in students' education.
2. Play an active role in providing a safe and friendly school.
3. Provide opportunities to foster and celebrate students' academic and personal achievement.
4. Supplement academic experiences through meaningful enrichment programs and by providing appropriate materials.
5. Develop students' global and multicultural perspectives, encouraging an awareness of societal issues.
6. Facilitate open communication between home and school.
7. Promote knowledge of public education issues and encourage participation where appropriate.
8. Evaluate programs and events to assure consistency between the Creek Valley PTA Statement of Purpose and the Mission Statement of Creek Valley Elementary School.
